Crisis Support
- Crisis Intervention Centre – 24/7 response to crisis calls and provision of emergency mental health interventions such as assessments, referrals, short-term crisis resolution, and information. Call 613-969-7400, extension 12753 or toll free 1-888-757-7766.

Service Navigation and Peer Support
- AccessMHA – AccessMHA is a program that assists people in accessing services for mental health and substance use health, and addictions issues.
- 211 Ontario – 24/7 helpline and website that connects individuals to community and social services. Includes a live chat option. Call 211 or toll free 1-877-330-3213.
- ConnexOntario – 24/7 access to service information for people experiencing problems with alcohol and drugs, mental health, or gambling. Includes a live chat option. Call 1-866-531-2600.
- Peer Support South East Ontario (PSSEO) – Free peer support and services for individuals 16+ experiencing problematic substance use and/or mental health issues. Peer Support Centres do not require a referral and walk-ins are welcome. Centre locations include Belleville, Madoc, Trenton, Bancroft, and Picton. One-on-one Community Peer Support requires a referral. Call 613-969-0122 for general information or visit the PSSEO website to view Peer Support Centre hours and locations.
- YouthHab Quinte – Youth Habilitation Quinte Inc. (Youthab) is a community-based non-profit organization. Their goal is to help young people living in the Quinte area obtain and maintain safe and affordable housing, good mental health and employment.
Free, Online Programs
- BounceBack® – A skill-building program managed by the Canadian Mental Health Association designed to help individuals 15+ manage low mood, mild to moderate depression and anxiety, stress or worry. BounceBack® Today Videos can be accessed immediately. To work through the program with a BounceBack® coach, individuals can complete a self-referral form or ask their primary care provider to submit a referral. - Breaking Free from Substance Use Online – An evidence-based online support tool designed to help individuals 16+ reduce or stop problematic substance use and decrease chances of relapse. Breaking Free is interactive and personalized, using therapeutic approaches to give people resources, positive coping strategies, and behaviour change techniques to support long-term recovery. Residents of Ontario can access the program for free by entering their postal code.
- One Stop Talk/Parlons maintenant (for youth) – Get connected to a professional clinician (by phone or online) for a session of brief therapy. Take Steps to Reduce the Risk – Health Canada and Getting Help with Substance Use.
Ensure Naloxone is available. Naloxone is available for use for anyone at local pharmacies and participating harm reduction locations, as well as at Public Health offices.
If you must use drugs alone, use an overdose prevention service such as the National Overdose Prevention Services 1-888-688-NORS(6677) or Grenfell Ministries – Overdose Prevention Line
