Community Clinic Update

To help ensure access for those who need it most, the Prince Edward Family Health Team is returning the Community Clinic to its original purpose: providing primary care for Prince Edward County residents without a family doctor or nurse practitioner.

The Community Clinic will continue to support specialized populations, including international students and international workers.

If you currently have a primary care provider outside of Prince Edward County, we will work with you on a transition plan, where needed, to reconnect you with your existing provider. Individuals seeking a local primary care provider may also be encouraged to register with Health Care Connect.

These changes will help us focus our resources on connecting unattached residents with the care they need.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Masking Encouraged if You're Not Feeling Well.

South East Public Health, working closely with system partners, officially declared the end of the respiratory illness season for our region.

Which means masking is no longer required in our clinics.

That said, we’ll continue to encourage mask-wearing for anyone who’s feeling unwell.

Thank you for being such an incredibly understanding and thoughtful community. Our combined actions really do make a difference.
