Provides in-clinic after-hours care for Prince Edward County residents rostered to a PEFHT physician or Nurse Practitioner Clinic.

This is not a walk-in clinic. Appointments are required. 

Services
Appropriate Symptoms for after-hours clinic appointments include:
  • Colds, flu, cough, sore throat & ear infections
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Minor skin infections, rashes & allergic reactions
  • Minor cuts, burns, bites & wounds
  • Sprains, strains & minor injuries
  • Acute back, neck & joint pain
  • Headaches & migraines
  • Nausea, vomiting & diarrhea
  • Mild asthma or respiratory symptoms
  • Conjunctivitis & other minor eye concerns
  • Minor medication-related concerns
  • Fever and other acute, non-life-threatening illnesses
Visit the Emergency Department for the following: 
  • chest pain
  • significant breathing difficulty
  • stroke symptoms
  • major trauma
  • severe abdominal pain
  • significant bleeding
  • severe allergic reactions
  • mental health emergencies
  • other potentially life-threatening conditions.
  • Chronic pain assessments or narcotic/benzo/controlled substance refills or chronic disease management.
